This November, we presented 50 Year Medals to 14 people who have been living with diabetes for the last 50 years. These medals mark an important milestone and a huge achievement. The medals also show how important good diabetes management is to your overall health.

The first medal ceremony took place in Cork on the 11th on November. During our Health and Wellbeing Exhibition in Rochestown Park, we presented the first 6 recipients their medals.

The second ceremony took place in our own Care Centre in Northwood Santry on the 27th of November. Another 8 people received their medals on the night.

Friends and family also came along to the events to join in the celebrations and a great day was had by all. Congratulations to all the medal recipients on their fantastic achievement!
