To conclude the celebrations for World Diabetes Month, Diabetes Ireland hosted the 5th in our Autumn/Winter series of Educational webinars for people living with diabetes and their families “Optimising Glycaemic Control of Paediatric Type 1 Diabetes During Covid-19”. The webinar attracted an audience of over 100 delegates on the night.

Our guest speaker Dr Orla Neylon, Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist from University Hospital Limerick provided an informative talk about the optimisation of glycaemic control, building your child’s independence, how to maximise virtual consultations with your diabetes team making best use of diabetes technology data and easing anxiety around Covid-19.
