Trevor qualified as a Pharmacist from Trinity College Dublin in 1984 and completed his Masters in Community Pharmacy in 2010. His career started out in the pharmaceutical sector as Product Development Manager with Stiefel Labs and Antigen Pharmaceuticals.
Between 1992 and 2003 he operated a community pharmacy in Sligo where he developed a particular interest in diabetes and in 2014 Trevor was appointed Project Manager to the cross border CAWT project. Cooperation And Working Together (CAWT) was a partnership between the Health and Social Care Services in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, which facilitated cross border collaborative working in health and social care.Between 2004 – 2007, Trevor focused on
“The Health Promotion and Care of Patients with Type II diabetes community pharmacy project”.
In 2008 he was appointed Primary Care Pharmacist for the HSE North West area. He has been a member of the National Clinical Programme for Diabetes since 2011.
Personal interests are running, triathlons, hiking and ornithology.
