Grainne Flynn, secretary of the Clare branch of Diabetes Ireland and a person who has lived with diabetes for 25 years says “We welcome all who would like to learn more about what type 2 diabetes is. We especially want to raise more awareness of ALL the risk factors of type 2 diabetes. The reason being that early detection of type 2 diabetes is key for a healthier and better quality of life with diabetes.”
