An education course, developed by Diabetes Ireland, is being run by Diabetes Ireland in New Ross Co Wexford
The aim of the course is to help you manage your Type 2 or pre- diabetes, The meeting is in a small group where ideas and tips on managing diabetes are discussed within the group. it will cover topics such as diabetes management and treatments, healthy eating with diabetes -and what is good to know, physical activity and ideas for motivation and changing behaviours.

There is NO COST to attend
The course will be run by, Jenny Dunbar , Diabetes Nurse with Diabetes Ireland.

The first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break.
The course will be held at Northgate Medical Centre
Week 1 Tuesday 24th March 2020 from 10.45- 1pm
Week 2 Tuesday 31st March 2020 from 10.45- 12.45pm
Week 3: Tuesday 7th April 2020 from 10:45am – 12:45pm
At 6 months: Tuesday 22nd Sept 2020 from 10:45am – 12:45pm

You are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course.
