If you are experiencing high blood sugar levels for no obvious reason and you use an Autopen, please be aware that this is a small (not widely distributed in Ireland) risk you may have one of the Autopens subject to recent alert from the Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and voluntary recall from Owen Mumford. The recall is of specific batches of the Autopen Classic 1 unit pen, Autopen Classic 2 unit pen, Autopen 24 unit 1 pen and Autopen 24 unit 2 pen. The product code is on the outside carton of the device or stamped on the lower part of the pen body.
