The Health Products Regulatory Authority has issued a Safety Notice stating that cartons of Freestyle Lite Test Strips (exp 2017/18), where the outer carton is not in the English Language, have been distributed in error on to the Irish Market. If you have received a carton of these strips, please do not use them and return them to your pharmacist for exchange.

Diabetes Ireland wish to remind people that all medications and other prescribed consumables should have English language details on the outer carton in order to comply with legislation in Ireland.
