Diabetes Ireland is very grateful that you would consider us at this time of great personal loss and sadness.
Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a great way to celebrate their life and to pay tribute to them. In memory giving will support the continued work of Diabetes Ireland ensuring better care and services for those living with, and affected by diabetes.
You can give in memory in the following ways:
Donation
You may wish to make a one-off donation in memory of a loved one or friend. Donations can be made online, by post (address below) or by calling 01-8428118.
Collections at Funerals or Services
Many people choose to hold a collection with family and friends during a funeral or service for a loved one. This often brings comfort and is a meaningful and positive act helping to celebrate their life.
Donation in Lieu of Flowers
You may wish to request donations to Diabetes Ireland in lieu of flowers, in memory of a loved one. This is often done at the time of the publication of the death notice of your loved one, for example “We kindly request donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetes Ireland, 19 Northwood House, Northwood Business Park, Santry, Dublin 9.”
