Ypsomed has just announced that the mylife Loop is now available in Ireland. This will enable you to combine the mylife YpsoPump insulin pump, and the mylife CamAPS FX with the CGM of your choice for an automated insulin delivery system managed directly from your smartphone.
mylife Loop :
- Is the only automated insulin delivery algorithm approved for ages one year and over, including pregnancy
- Is the only system that offers a choice between the Dexcom G6 and the Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3 continuous glucose monitoring sensors.
- Provides remote monitoring via the companion feature in the app

- Offers discreet therapy management, including bolus dosing, directly from your smartphone
How mylife Loop works
The mylife CamAPS FX app connects to the insulin pump and sensor. The sensor sends glucose data to the mylife CamAPS FX app. Based on those readings, the app adjusts insulin delivery on the insulin pump every eight to twelve minutes to prevent low and high glucose levels.
The mylife CamAPS FX app is personalisable and adaptive; it constantly learns and quickly adapts to ever-changing insulin needs. It adjusts to diurnal and day-to-day variations in insulin requirements and compensates for over and under-dosing of the meal bolus.
