Diabetes Ireland held an interactive informative workshop for adults living with Type 1 diabetes on the 10th of April in The Clayton Hotel, Sligo.
This interactive informative workshop was facilitated by Advanced Nurse Practitioner Patricia Murray, Diabetes Dietitian Ms Lisa Kelly and Psychologist Kate Gajewska.
The workshop was an open discussion where individuals had the opportunity to discuss many aspects of living with diabetes and ask questions of the health professionals in a supportive informal environment.
This evening gave an opportunity for those in attendance to seek support from others living with Type 1 diabetes. This worthwhile meeting was sponsored by a HSE National Lottery Grant.
